Photographer, Ashley Gill, focuses in on the idea of toxicity and the limiting nature of gender roles and expectations in our society, especially regarding college life. "We are socialized to believe that certain things belong to certain groups and those who think otherwise are judged. I directed the shoot and intentionally styled it in bright bold colors with coordinating editorial makeup to directly contrast the idea that men cannot wear makeup, or that they cannot be comfortable in their sexuality in doing so and the classic "all the men like blue black and gray" stereotypes. These men are wearing bright bold fun colors and they look damn good doing it." Shot on the Campus of UNC Chapel Hill this shoot was the first of its kind!
